Ask the Geeky Girls -
Tabitha (TabieS80) from Kentucky asks:
I have a friend who is planning a trip to Scotland and has agreed to to bring me back some yarn. My questions are… where are some LYS that you would suggest and what would your yarn of choice for me be? I understand that I will most likely never be able to make it to Scotland myself, but would love some truly Scottish yarn. She’s not positive where she will go in Scotland but has mentioned going to the landmarks from the book Outlander. We’re huge Outlander fans! I love your podcast and the fact that you’re not ashamed of or hide your faith, and Dami’s enthusiasm is unbelievably infectious. Wishing you all the best in all you do.

& Lucinda (Supercinda) from Idaho asks:
Question from a recent obsessive knitting podcast listener. I will be visiting your city mid-June 2017.
What knitting related touristy suggestions do you two suggest? I’ll be in Edinburgh 2 days-June 28th and 29th… this little ol’ Idahoan needs a few tips as to fiber related places to visit. Mill’s, Yarn shops, festivals… where would you two start me off? Thanks so much for your time.
P.S. I’ll be touring London, Wales, and Scotland. Any tips would be so appreciated!

We mention:
